A Letter to Men

I believe we live in a culture that can be toxic for men. We’ve all heard the script: “Man up. Don’t rock the boat. Big boys don’t cry. Men can’t be weak.” We are taught to be the providers, the protectors, and the warriors. We’re told we can’t fail, we can’t fall, and we certainly can’t admit that the burden we carry is too much. So, we stay silent. We decide we will die trying.

And so you carry it all. The stress. The disappointment. The emptiness. You ask quiet questions about who you are or what this life is really about, all while believing that no one could possibly understand your struggle.

It’s a strange irony: right now, there is a “quiet crisis” in this country among millions of men—and every single one of them believes they are the only one feeling this way.

But carrying it alone has a cost. Maybe you drink a little too much. Maybe you scroll too long or hide behind a screen. Maybe your friend circle is shrinking, and your family ties are fraying. Loneliness gnaws at you, and thoughts you never thought you’d have begin to cross your mind—thoughts you’d never speak aloud because to do so feels like admitting defeat.

Here is the truth: You’re not weak for feeling this. You’re human. Real strength isn’t about pretending everything’s fine—it’s about the courage to say, “I don’t have to do this alone.” Throughout history, there has never been a culture or a successful institution where one man stands entirely alone. We weren't built for it.

I offer a space where the mask comes off. No judgment. No clichés. Just a conversation between men about where you are, what you’ve lost, and what’s still possible.

You’ve been there for everyone else for long enough. It’s time to let someone be there for you
